[We are not built to tank]

Dash and Fading is a strategy to confuse the enemy and break their combo mode, I have seen that a majority of players (all classes) I encountered in war channel have poor eye and hand coordination skills when it comes to keeping their combo mode going while the enemy fades and dash.

Go to a war map/channel and see for yourself what common players tend to do when you battle with them…you might notice what I did and saw - that almost everyone rely on the help of their ally. They will usually attack their enemies til death and the first one who gets his hp lower will defensively fade and dash to the farthest safe spot and use pots to get him prepared again for a face to face combat. Of course those with higher level, well built stats and gears will win in this kind of battle, in some cases they also die because of reasons that they got execrated and have been teamed up or outnumbered, a very common and usual situational strategy. True? If we can understand well about the killing tactics of each class we might come up with some strategy or ideas to counter and prevent it.

We know what classes have dangerous bm2 skills? We know that WA’s bm2 using normal attack inflicts knock downs and great damage, same with the BL’s with their super one hitter BM2 finisher skill, and we know that Wiz have doubled cast hard hitting spells making them a formidable enemy and terror to escape to in war with their blink skill, therefore we should avoid this and let our fb friends bind before we decide attacking them or go bm2 with enough defense to heal back while taking damage.

Only quite a few players of the last three “force (FA/FB/FS)” classes can manage to kill using bm2 and that’s because they are fully amped. Therefore the most common used killing strategy a mediocre come up are based on dps skills, buffs and debuffs. That is when I think we can realize what advantages and disadvantages we have in war and what other uses can fade and dash do.

As FA’s we rely on range and skill dps. “The faster the skill the quicker the kill” of course that works best for us FA’s, with good stats, high magic, decent gears it is possible to kill a high level and well-geared person. Even if you’re outnumbered, against multiple enemies, if you know how to lure one by one, get a feel of each of their defenses and offenses, tell if your target is on combo mode and time well your fading to break it, then you can use the momentum to turn the tides.

A person out of combo mode can be knocked down with cannons. Your eyes, which should always be cautious and aware if the target gets knocked down, should tell when to press on the “combo mode” key. The quicker you press it and start to combo right after the enemy gets knocked down by knockdown skill, the greater the chance you can get his hp to half or even lower while he’s down, even if he pots, by the time he’s up you’ve already done some damage and its either you kill the person if he decides to strike, which most of the times happens to my enemies in ch 20, or they escape by dashing away from you, but why will you let them escape? Now this is what Neiro and some other players have mastered and which most of us needs to learn and practice on.

Chasing an enemy by dashing at the same time holding your combo mode on and knocking down (with cannons) who you’re chasing and comboing them to death while their down is what the pro FA’s here are good at, these are dangerous and skilled players that I will enjoy with fighting at war for the thrill of it ^.^ . How I wish to see one epic battle that Neiro once mentioned he had with SHERM, unfortunately my time has come and I have to lay down my bow.

Constant practice can earn you that skill. What makes the pro FA’s these days really that good in the art of war is because of their hard-hitting skill that’s being well supported by their player skill and effective strategy. Going Aura also can help amplify your damage to kill faster, provided that you can combo while you’re on it. But doing so will reveal your presence to the eyes of your enemies more as if going berserk, and being the center of attention by then should you require more caution and awareness.

Yet again Fading and Dashing will do to evade most of their damage. Don’t be discouraged with taunts you are not a coward by fading and dashing in war grounds. It is a FA rule to always attack at a far range. Sometimes in situations like dealing with two enemies the other person will combo at you while your comboing on his ally, in this case its not worth continuing the combo to kill the person you’re trying to kill, unless you don’t really take serious damage from the one attacking you, but just incase you’re against a hard hitter, don’t wait for your combo bar to break just press escape key and it will be cancelled quickly then fade away.
